Privacy policy

SocialApps (https://socialapps.devrefine.com) lets you view statistics for your YouTube channels and upload videos to them. It uses YouTube API Services. By using it you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

What we store

• Your Google account's numeric identifier, so we can recognise you when you sign in. We do not store your name, email address or photo.
• For each YouTube channel you connect: the channel's identifier and an OAuth refresh token, encrypted, which lets the app act on that channel when you ask it to.
• For each API key you create: a one-way hash of the key, its label and when it was last used.
• While an upload is in progress: the address of YouTube's upload session, deleted when the upload finishes or within two days.

What we do not store

Channel and video statistics, titles, descriptions and other YouTube data are fetched from YouTube when you open a page and are not saved. Video files pass through the server straight to YouTube and are not kept. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising; the only cookies are a sign-in session and a short-lived security token during sign-in.

How we use and share data

The data above is used only to show you your own channel information and to upload the videos you choose. It is not sold, shared with third parties or used for advertising.

Deleting your data

• Disconnect a channel on its page: we revoke the token with Google and delete the channel's record immediately.
• Delete your account in Settings: every channel is revoked and all your records are deleted immediately.
• You can also revoke access at any time in your Google account's security settings at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. The next time the app tries to use that channel, Google refuses and we delete the channel's record at that moment.
